Coaching, resources, and honest encouragement for the seasons that ask everything of you — caregiving, grief, financial hardship, and the long work of rebuilding.
Darla Wade is a faith-rooted coach, speaker, and author who helps caregivers and weary hearts find spiritual peace and financial freedom — without losing themselves in the process.
Her work is built on a simple, hard-won truth: the people who pour themselves out for others are the most likely to run dry. As the author of How to Care for Them Without Losing Yourself, Darla writes and teaches from both expertise and lived experience, walking alongside people through caregiving, grief, financial recovery, and the slow work of rebuilding a life.
Her financial guidance carries unusual depth. Darla is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), and she has completed Ramsey Solutions' Financial Coach Master Training. She has taught Dave Ramsey's financial course — leading groups step by step out of debt and into a plan — and has provided one-on-one financial guidance within her own church community. But her understanding did not begin in a classroom. Long before any of those credentials, Darla walked through her own season of financial crisis and recovery, and it was that experience that set her on the path she's on today.
Through her brand, Kainos Empowerment, Darla offers coaching, resources, and an honest, encouraging voice for caregivers carrying heavy loads. The name itself reflects her mission: kainos is the Greek word for new — not merely new in time, but new in quality, made fresh and whole — drawn from Romans 12:2 and its promise of transformation "by the renewing of your mind." That is the heart of her message: your worth is not your circumstances, your mind and your life can be renewed, peace is something you can build, and you do not have to walk it out alone.
Darla also leads From Jesus to You Ministries, a faith-based ministry of worship and discipleship — offering music and worship alongside Bible studies, workshops, online courses, coaching, and webinars — under the banner Jesus is the Way. Through it, she continues her mission to bring biblical truth, practical encouragement, and spiritual growth to people in hard seasons.
